Booth D14

May 36, 2018
Randalls Island Park, New York
Gagosian is pleased to participate in Frieze New York 2018 with a solo presentation of works by Robert Therrien.
In his investigations of form, perception, and subjectivity, Therrien isolates recognizable elements and objects from everyday life, imbuing the ordinary with an otherworldly air. His work demonstrates the transformative power of scale and viewpoint, from giant tables and chairs and towering stacks of oversize plates, to drawings of familiar shapes and forms, which he distills and refines to create a lexicon of symbols, both ambiguous and charged with memory.
If you wish to receive a PDF with detailed information on the works, please contact us at inquire@gagosian.com.
